Questions and answers

Who is your style icon?

No one person in particular, as I think different women embody different types of style. For timeless appeal, I love Grace Kelly and Françoise Hardy. For a contemporary slant, I like Olivia Palermo's youthful style, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman’s glamorous look and Angelina Jolie's understated elegance.

Describe your own personal sense of style?

Classic with a twist. I don’t follow trends like I did in my twenties although I still get excited to shop every season. I now know what suits me and which designers cut clothes best for mine and my clients' shapes.

Who do you most rate in the world of fashion right now and why?

I love Chloé and Stella McCartney every season without fail, for their wearable essential wardrobe pieces. For casual wear, I love all the cutting-edge French brands like Isabel Marant, and for evening, Marchesa dresses.

Where is your favourite place in the world?

For a relaxing holiday, The Maldives and for fashion and parties, Paris and New York.
